Profile

Stellantis is one of the world's largest automakers, formed from the merger of Fiat Chrysler and PSA, with brands including Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Jeep, Fiat, Chrysler and others. Batteries are central to its multi-brand electrification plan.

The company is a founding partner in the ACC cell joint venture in Europe (with Mercedes and TotalEnergies/Saft) and sources cells from suppliers including CATL, LG Energy Solution and Samsung SDI, spanning NMC and LFP chemistries. It has also invested in next-generation developers, including Factorial Energy for solid-state.

Stellantis's scale across many brands and markets makes it a major battery customer, pursuing a mix of joint ventures, external supply and next-generation bets.
