The International Lithium Association (ILiA) is the global, not-for-profit industry association representing the entire lithium value chain. Established in 2021, it is run by and for its members, and works to be the voice of the lithium industry.
Its membership spans organisations across the lithium chain, from mines and refineries through to OEMs and recyclers. The association promotes ESG and sustainability, provides authoritative information on lithium, and represents the industry's interests internationally as lithium demand grows with the energy transition.
ILiA is the lithium counterpart to the long-established associations serving other battery chemistries, and a central body for the lithium industry worldwide.
